Have you ever gambled mud and blood, Dinowars, Chrome wars or Space Combat? You are probably unaware of what these are, but are called war games. These games revolve around various types of military actions — whether it's fiction or nonfiction.
Probably the first thing that comes to mind when you hear of war games is Warcraft or perhaps DoTA. But there are hundreds of these online games. And in essence, are classified in the following typologies: historic recordings of the past, or theoretical, fantasy or sci-fi.
Historical games are generally most war games online. Trying to symbolize a rational estimate the real strengths, topography and other factors caused the tangible game players. Fantasy war games are basically games that are made without considering the creator's imagination really scientific concepts. Does not follow a specific baseline, and then this classification is quite comprehensive. Some examples of fantasy are the blood divine generals and Arena. A fighting game and the battle between humans, fantasy and mythological creatures is blood Arena. You can build your own Guild with warriors and creatures and fight against each other in your quest for supremacy. Divine generals, you build buildings, increasing population, produce resources and take over the city.
Science fiction war games, however, are the games that are based on scientific facts and theories that involves the evolution of the human race and of technology. Sci-Fi should not depend entirely on scientific concepts because some may be altered, but making too much alteration will fall into the fantasy. Some examples of war are sci-fi Space Combat and Chrome Wars. This is a war game based on robot where the will power up your robot and get ready for war. Choose to attack or defend in order to keep ultimately down all of your opponents.
